Samuel Hoskins, b. 2000, is a current student at The Florence Academy of Art. Though most of his time is spent learning the ancient craft of academic drawing and painting, his thoughts are pointed upwards to his future outside the powerful yet strict confines of this prestigious atelier. Hoskins is driven by his two biggest fears; living a normal life (by his definition), and creating pretty paintings as an end in itself. To him, a painter is a sacred obligation who acts as an intercessory between the known and unknown world.
