As an oil painter, I see my work as an act of exploration. I am inspired by the great outliers of history, thinkers and artists who followed a timeless golden thread of inquiry. My paintings are a visual record of my own journey into the landscapes of the mind. Trained in classical techniques, I use this historical language to bridge the rational world with the realm of dreams, the unconscious, and the "Other." Each painting is a quest to glimpse a greater, more unified truth, offering a space for viewers to reflect on the mysteries just beyond the surface of the familiar.

This is the moment of turning to face the self. In the vast, silent cold, against the backdrop of a dying sun and ancient ice, there is a quiet strength in this backward glance. It is not about regret or longing for the past, but about acknowledging the journey that has led to this exact moment. It is an acceptance of the self, raw and present, finding warmth and resilience in a world that is vast, indifferent, and exquisitely beautiful.

To the Moon
